Elya is an independent creative technology studio based in Québec, Canada. This page explains what happens to the information you send through this site, who processes it, and how long it is kept.
When you submit the contact form, Elya receives the details you enter: the discipline you selected, your project description, your name, your email address, and an optional business name. We use this information only to review the inquiry and reply about the project. We collect nothing else, and the site has no accounts, no logins, and no advertising trackers.
The form submits to this website, which sends the details to madebyelya@gmail.com through Resend, an email delivery provider. Resend processes and stores the message on servers in the United States, which means your information is handled outside Québec and may be subject to the laws of that country. Elya does not sell inquiry data or share it with anyone beyond that delivery provider.
Inquiry emails that do not become projects are deleted within 24 months. Where an inquiry becomes a project, the correspondence is kept for the life of the engagement and for 7 years afterward, which is the retention period Québec business and tax records require.
Submitting an inquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing list. We may reply to your inquiry or follow up about the project you asked about. You can ask us to stop non-essential follow-up at any time and we will stop.
This site sets no cookies and runs no advertising or marketing trackers. It uses Vercel Analytics to count page views, which is cookieless and records no information that identifies you individually. If cookies, ad pixels, or identifying analytics are ever added, this notice will be updated before that change is deployed.
You may ask to access, correct, or delete the personal information Elya holds about you, and to receive it in a portable format. Email madebyelya@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
If a confidentiality incident creates a risk of serious injury to you, Elya will notify you and the Commission d’accès à l’information as Law 25 requires, and will keep a record of the incident.
