Elya is an independent creative technology studio based in Québec, Canada. This page explains what happens to the information you send through this site, who processes it, and how long it is kept.
When you submit the contact form or project brief, Elya receives the details you enter. These may include your project type and description, name, email address, business or artist name, phone number, location, timeline, budget range, deliverables and reference links. We use this information only to review the inquiry and reply about the project. The site has no customer accounts, no public sign-up and no advertising trackers.
The contact form sends your inquiry to selyane@madebyelya.com through Resend, an email delivery provider. A project brief is stored in Elya's managed Supabase PostgreSQL database, and Resend sends its acknowledgement email. These providers may process or store information outside Québec, where it may be subject to local laws. Elya does not sell inquiry data or share it beyond providers needed to receive, store and reply to your request.
Inquiry emails and stored brief records that do not become projects are deleted within 24 months. Where an inquiry becomes a project, the correspondence is kept for the life of the engagement and for 7 years afterward, which is the retention period Québec business and tax records require.
Submitting an inquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing list. We may reply to your inquiry or follow up about the project you asked about. You can ask us to stop non-essential follow-up at any time and we will stop.
This site sets no cookies and runs no advertising or marketing trackers. It uses Vercel Analytics to count page views, which is cookieless and records no information that identifies you individually. If cookies, ad pixels, or identifying analytics are ever added, this notice will be updated before that change is deployed.
You may ask to access, correct, or delete the personal information Elya holds about you, and to receive it in a portable format. Email selyane@madebyelya.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
If a confidentiality incident creates a risk of serious injury to you, Elya will notify you and the Commission d’accès à l’information as Law 25 requires, and will keep a record of the incident.
